Drifted Entities vol.1 is the latest work by the ever-changing producer Healing Force Project. In this album he crosses a multitude of genres, expanding his long standing quest for unconventional structures. Taking on the freeform jazz of the electric Miles Davis, the artist envelopes some elements into woozy dub echoes, gradually layering rhythms up to frantic drum and bass speed. Dissonant sounds punctuate the mysterious atmosphere populated by obscure creatures that seem to float towards unknown shores.

The first track, Tiny Germs, opens with mellow piano chords and rattling noises as if stumbling life forms were moving their first steps into space. The underlying melody builds up until the track breaks into discordant tunes that lead the path through the unknown land. A sludgy dark motif made of thick bass lines and eerie samples develops within the composition in Upbeat Damage, slowly growing into a psychedelic jam that reminds of the adventurous experiments of African Head Charge. The creatures keep floating along ambient oneiric sounds and spacey throbs in Everything Is Frequency, finally entering Double Orbit where the drums get rolling and fast. A forceful vortex stirs tight drum and bass bpm, spinning the Drifted Entities within the chaos of a remote galaxy, where all values seem to be lost (Diorama Obscura).
